The project aims to be a database for ethnic enclaves within New York City. At this moment our primary focus is to map out ethnic enclaves within the borough of Queens. Through our database, people will be able to learn about a specific ethnic enclave. They will be able to learn about their culture, foods, practices, values, etc. The map will also provide locations where one can find restaurants associated with foods from the community as well as markets that sell ingredients to make dishes at home.
